Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using PatentStack (the "Platform"), operated by MZ Unlimited LLC ("Company", "we", "us"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Platform.

2. Description of Service

PatentStack provides a web-based platform for patent portfolio management, international patent application submission, and connection to patent service providers. The Platform is provided "as is" and is subject to change without notice.

3. User Accounts

You must create an account to access certain features. You are responsible for:

  • Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
  • All activity that occurs under your account
  • Providing accurate, current, and complete registration information
  • Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or that we determine, in our sole discretion, are being used fraudulently.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Platform to:

  • Violate any applicable laws or regulations
  • Submit false, misleading, or fraudulent patent application information
  • Infringe upon the intellectual property rights of any third party
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Platform
  • Transmit malware, viruses, or other harmful code
  • Scrape, crawl, or systematically extract data without our written consent

5. Patent Applications

Patent applications submitted through the Platform are managed by our team and qualified patent professionals. We do not guarantee the outcome of any patent application. Submission through the Platform does not constitute legal advice, and we recommend consulting a licensed patent attorney for formal prosecution.

6. Service Providers

PatentStack lists third-party patent service providers for informational purposes. We do not endorse any specific provider and are not responsible for the services, advice, or conduct of any listed provider. Your engagement with providers is solely between you and the provider.

7. Intellectual Property

The Platform and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by MZ Unlimited LLC and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other applicable laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without our express written permission.

You retain all rights to the content of your patent applications and portfolio data. By submitting content to the Platform, you grant us a limited license to process and store that content solely for the purpose of providing the service.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE PLATFORM IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, MZ UNLIMITED LLC SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE PLATFORM, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

10. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

11. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will provide notice of material changes via email or through the Platform. Continued use of the Platform after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
